FHA:  Important Notice to Homebuyers 92900-B Rescinded

HUD Mortgagee Letter, dated June 23, 2026, rescinds the requirement for Mortgagees to provide Borrowers with form HUD-92900-B Important Notice to Homebuyers.  In November 2025, HUD issued a waiver of this requirement, but this Mortgagee Letter permanently removes the requirement.  Mortgagees are no longer required to provide the form to Borrowers or obtain and retain an executed copy.  The 92900-B will be removed from all FHA loan packages prepared through DocsDirect effective 10/15/2026 or after.
